The Museums Group Youth Training announcement

Dear teenagers and parents,

In order to stimulate young people's interest in history and culture and cultivate comprehensive literacy, Zangjin Bogu Museum Group will hold a series of training activities for young people to start an interesting knowledge journey.

I. Training objectives

Help young people to have a deep understanding of history and culture, broaden their knowledge, and cultivate their love for traditional culture.

Enhance young people's ability of observation, thinking, expression and teamwork.

Through experience and practice, it inspires innovative thinking and encourages interpretation of history and culture from a unique perspective.

2. Training objects

School students aged [10-16]

3. Training time and place

Time:

Phase 1: August 5, 2026 - August 26, 2026, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10:00-14:00

Phase 2: October 15, 2026 - December 26, 2026, every Friday afternoon 16:00-18:00

The number of subsequent periods will be announced.

Venue: Zangjin Bogu Activity Building 308

Iv. Training content

History and Culture Lecture Hall: Experts are invited to tell the historical context, interpret historical events in combination with the museum collections, and carry out the "Story behind cultural relics" lecture.

Museum exploration: Professional docents lead visits to various venues, set up "treasure hunting" tasks, exercise observation and exploration ability.

Manual creation: Organized and participated in traditional craft production such as ceramic painting and ancient papermaking, and carried out creative activities of "Museum in my Heart".

Team development: Cultivate teamwork and communication skills through projects such as history knowledge contest and heritage conservation debate.

5. Training methods

Expert teaching: Invite authoritative experts to ensure accurate and in-depth knowledge.

Field experience: Use museum resources to learn in a cultural environment.

Interactive communication: Organize class and group discussions and encourage the expression of ideas.

Practical operation: Transform theoretical knowledge through manual production and project practice.

6. Assessment and evaluation

Comprehensive assessment after the training, the form of knowledge question-and-answer, work display, team project evaluation.

Certificates and prizes will be awarded to outstanding students, and certificates of completion will be provided to each student.

Optimize training through questionnaires and feedback.

Vii. Registration methods and fees

How to register:

Online: Log on the official website and click "Youth Training Registration Portal" to register.

Offline: Pick up and fill out the form at the Visitor Service center.

Fee: 50 yuan per person per issue, including information fee and material fee. Students from poor families can apply for remission.

Viii. Precautions

Parents make sure to pick up their children safely and on time.

The youth should observe the training discipline and care for the heritage facilities.

In case of special circumstances, the training time or content adjustment will be notified through the official website and public number.
